The Denas has a longer handle than the other devices,
so you can reach the middle of your back easily.
As well as my DENAS, I own (and have used) the DiaDENS DT, the DiaDENS PCM,
and the far more expensive top model SCENAR-1-NT 02.
I found them very complicated to use, and although they can do more
( - if you understand them ! ) my DENAS is easy to use, can reach all of my
body (I give it a 'toning' every morning) - and adjusting the power level
(to get good effects without any severe hurt) is so simple and easy.
Whenever I carry my DENAS around the house, my dogs come wanting
to have their turn. I use my DENAS on them at full strength
(at first I had it lower, until they got used to it) and they now shed less
and have a beautiful shiny coat !

DiaDENS-T is a reliable cost effective device with an LCD screen - and with a therapeutic point probe included in the package. This device was designed both for personal users and entry level DENS therapists. In comparison with the DENAS device, DiaDENS-T has an improved form of built-in electrode and more frequencies available for therapy. DiaDENS-T can cure acute (injury, severe or slight pain, burns, asthma etc), chronic conditions (chronic back pain, bronchial asthma, stroke after-effects etc) and make prophylaxis. DiaDENS-T has 3 modes - Therapy, MED Mode ("Minimum Efficient Dose" - an Advanced Dosed Mode of DENAS devices), and Screening Mode. The "DENS Applicator" is special additional belt electrode for DENAS/DiaDENS devices. It consists of two multiple-electrode strips and 1 belt + 3 cuffs (one wide and two narrow) which can be adjusted with Velcro fasteners. The pads are designed to treat inaccessible zones of back, hip, neck and shoulders. It is also useful for treating larger segments of the body simultaneously. Using the belt and cuffs to hold the pads where needed on the body provides comfort during the therapy session: the patient can sit in a comfortable position and apply DENS therapy at home. You can adjust the power of the device used to be at the level that
you wish - the recommended length of any one treatment is about 1 hour.
John Living's comment: I found that I could have my DENAS held
onto the adaptor by a couple of elastic bands, then put it in my pocket
with the pads bound to my hip and plugged in to my DENAS - I was able to move around without any
trouble and do my normal work !
